A message from Pastor Danny

Greetings saints of Jesus! "Happy are those who have the God of Israel as
their Helper, whose hope is in the LORD their God." (Psalm 146:5)
Isn't it great to know that the God who cannot fail is our helper? What is
there besides that that could cause us to be unhappy? As the songwriter
says:

My hope is built on nothing less
Than Jesus blood and righteousness.
I dare not trust the sweetest frame
But wholly lean on Jesus' name.
On Christ the solid rock I stand;
All other ground is sinking sand!
All other ground is sinking sand!

I realize that the demands of this life make it difficult at times to gather
together at the church. I hope we will all recognize the need for us to
regularly come together for corporate prayer and praise to God for His
continued help and favor.

But we can all also agree together in our homes and in our prayer closets.
With that in mind, I am including for you the prayer emphasis for the month
of June. This is certainly not all inclusive, but can be used as a guide
for us as we all seek the Lord in prayer for our church. I believe God has
tremendous and incredible plans for us as a church that He wants to
accomplish through us, but this can only happen as we seek Him in prayer and
commune with Him.

Please join with us as we look to the Lord with all confidence and assurance
that
"The Lord is close to all who call on Him,
yes, to all who call on Him sincerely.
He fulfills the desires of those who fear Him;
He hears their cries for help and rescues them.
The Lord protects all those who love Him."
Psalm 145:18-20
