Monday: pray for a spiritual blessing

1. that there will be a renewed commitment to become more like Christ each day throughout the year
2. that there would be revival in our worshiop and in our lifestyles
3. that we would grow in faith and in the knowledge of God's will for our lives
4. that we would have a renewed and rekindled passion for God's Word and for His presence
5. that many will "step up" to ministry within the local church
6. that many would choose to do something different this year that they might receive something different
7. that Christians everywhere would awaken to the signs of the times, and that they would "make the most of every opportunity, redeeming the time, because the days are evil"
8. that there would be an awakening among our young people and our children, that they would desire, seek, and experience the presence and power of God in a radical way

Tuesday: pray for leaders

--in the Church

1. that they would be protected from the enemy's schemes, and that they would stand strong in their faith
2. that they would make righteous choices and abstain from compromise
3. that they would continue to grow in their faith journey so that we may continue to grow in ours
4. that God would inspire them to creativity and sound decision making
5. that they would have the courage to lead, especially in difficult and/or challenging times
6. that they would have wisdom and discernment in all areas

--in government

1. that they would be protected from harm
2. that they would make sound decisions based on what is right and not just what is right for them
3. that they would honor God in their service and in their leadership
4. that they would have the wisdom andcourage necessary to lead
5. that they would be people of integrity

--in business

1. that they would never compromise their integrity in pursuit of profit
2. that God would cause them to prosper
3. that they would recognize that their business belongs to God first and they would be good stewards of assets

Wednesday: pray for missionaries

1. that they would have a renewed sense of passion and anointing
2. that they and their families would be protected from evil or harm and danger
3. that God would help those who face persecution for the cause of the Kingdom of God
4. that God would meet every one of their needs of provision, health, and support
5. that this would be a year of miracles and victory in their mission fields
6. that their faith and their testimony would grow this year
7. that their influence would be far reaching for the kingdom

Thursday: pray for physical needs

1. pray for the good health of yourself, your family, your friends
2. that we would make good decisions regarding health, habits, diet, and exercise
3. that God would heal those who are sick, infirmed, or handicapped
4. that long-standing diseases and conditions would be defeated, loosed and set free
5. that habits and addictions would lose their hold on people
6. that those who suffer loss, death, hardship would receive and increased outpouring of grace and strength in difficult circumstances
7. that those who are lonely would find friendship and fellowship, that those who are discouraged would find their way, that those who are broken would find healing, that those who are angry would find peace

Friday: pray for families

1. that marriages would be healthy, vibrant, and strong
2. that struggling marriages would be strengthened, that the couple would choose to fight to survive rather than to give up
3. that divorce would not only be the last option, for many or most it would be no option at all
4. that those who are estranged would be reconciled
5. that entire families would come to salvation
6. that people would return to regular family time around the dinner table, at play, in fruitful ministry, and around the altar
7. that children would honor their parents
8. that the hearts of fathers would be turned to their children, and the children to their fathers
9. that parents would not provoke their children to wrath
10. that prodigal children woudl return home, and broken relationships would be mended
11. that forgiveness would reign and prevail where hurt and offencse have taken hold
12. that single people would recognize the value in their singleness and offer it as a gift to God
13. that single people would discover and build ehalthy family and friendship relationships
14. that bad or unhealthy relationships would come to an end
15. that God would protect all victims of physical and emotional abuse
16. that families would make sound financial decisions and not live beyond their means

Saturday: pray for general needs

1. that God's kingdom would advance in the earth
2. that the lost would come to Christ
3. that those who know Christ would have a heart and zeal for the lost
4. that the Church would truly become the church to the lost, the homeless, and the forgotten of society
5. that those who do evil would stop, and that those who do not would receive justice
6. that hopeless situations would find the hope of Jesus
7. that there would be peace in Jerusalem and for Israel
8. that God will provide for the needy during times of economic challenge throughout the new year
9. that unsaved friends and loved ones will soften their hearts toward Christ during the new year
10. for Christian friends and loved ones who will face difficult spiritual battles in the new year
